Stop Noise Pollution: Are Christmas Carols more than Seasons' Greetings?

Christmas is a time for extravagant expenses and just makes our economic situation worse. The only sensible opinions are those of America's realistic and disbelieving  population, whose opinions are based on statistics and the real truth, instead of mythical creatures, and a hefty old man  who can recuperate  after tumbling down a chimney in milliseconds while keeping the domicile's  residents  completely  inadvertent of his presence. Not everyone celebrates Christmas, and many despise it, especially the obnoxious, modern version where materialism and  arrogance holds more importance to the celebrators.
Some traditions, though altered, are still withstanding, and most of them waste five minutes or more of your life that you can't get back.Among these are caroling, tree decorating, and midnight stocking-checks.  In a recent survey, 63 percent of voters found Christmas carols to be the most significant nuisance of all.  This has made a large impact and has caused several people to contemplate neglecting the doorbell on  Christmas Eve when the neighbors are on the other side of the door, ready to serenade you with an off key song  and a severe headache.
Carols  were originally meant spread the cheer and are supposedly a way to ensure you don't find a lump of coal in your sparkling  stocking. Singing carols with people from around the neighborhood creates an exuberant sense of togetherness and nostalgia.  In addition to these momentary  feelings of unity, seeing that spurious smile  spread on someones face establishes that spurious smile. It is also enjoyable to pretend you are not cognizant of the annoyance that your songs melt away into smirks and perplexity.  Caroling is a cherished part of the holiday season for most.
Pollution has affected the Earth from the beginning of the  first civilization; there are numerous types of pollution. The most common  types of pollution are air pollution and materialistic pollution, which both harm our planet in a drastic way, despite our various attempts to stop pollution. Materialistic  pollution is basically pollution because of  any object.  Littering is similar to this  type of pollution. Air pollution comes from the large factories and vehicles' exhaust. If you come to think of  it, outsourcing transports air pollution to other countries.  The next common type of pollution is sound pollution.  Most sound pollution comes from mechanical  objects,  such as radios and televisions, but it also  comes from - believe it or not- carols!
Carols  not only produce noise pollution, but  sudden increases of  volume can hurt the fragile ears  of the elderly.  In fact, redundant carols can replay in your mind, and  cause severe  headaches .  Furthermore,  for those who don't celebrate Christmas, it's humiliating and just plain angering.    Carols can be thee most intimidating part  of the season and can ruin the holidays for everybody, either by spreading guilt, anger, annoyance, and of course, unworthy arrogance.
As this tradition is one that dates back several years,  I  am brought to admit that this tradition isn't that bad. The only awareness that only I seem to consider, is those who have difficulty hearing.  But of course, maybe,  being able to sing and laugh with family one last time is more important than obtaining adequate hearing.  As for me, I am considering not slamming the door in the others' face but I'm sure that I will stop for a moment to hear not the words those carolers sing, but instead the immense joy and happiness they bring.
And maybe, just maybe, I'll join.
