The first phrase I heard on Thanksgiving was "It's snowing!" I had overslept despite being badgered by my beeping buzzer; I had forgotten to stop my alarm. I awake from my slumber, lean forward so I can glimpse outside, and I am blinded by an abrupt sensation. The sun is blazing and its about 11 o'clock. A leaf is plastered to the net behind the window. I fall back into my supine position.
"- In Philedelphia" a very sheepish father adds. I rub my eyes, experimenting to see if the sunlight will disappear when I blink. Then I swing my legs onto the floor and yawn.
"So what's our plan?" I ask. I conizant that we are not staying in this house. Partially because my room has been hit by a tornado, and because I don't smell any savory flavors.
Suddenly, the sky turns a pitch black and I see intricate snowflakes drifting down .Gently, as if it was powdered someone blew lovingly down from the sky.
The next day, Black Friday, I woke up at one. No, not 1 A.M., in the afternoon! I wish there was a Night'`s Owl special for Black Friday because I was sure I missed most of the sales. We rushed through the day since the prices had been converted , we didn't buy much. We received some part of the discount, and then we went to Michaels'. I bought some string there and I made a few friendship bracelets before we got home. I can do this very quickly, I've made many.
